If you have a chicken coop, sometimes if you leave the door open, there is a small chance that at night you may hear a sound similar to a wolf howling, if so, when you wake go to chickens and left-click them. Once you do so it should make a text pop up saying "<<Chicken Name>> is disturbed by something last night>>". After doing so walk into the coop and one or two chickens will be gone.

Once you do so it should make a text pop up saying "<<Chicken Name>> is disturbed by something last night>>". After doing so walk into the coop and one or two chickens will be gone.

This may be the result of leaving your coop door open and a wolf comes in the night, but we are not sure.

This is the result of leaving your coop door open and wild animals coming during the night. Note; this can happen with almost every animal on your farm (except dog), so close your coop door during the night.
