Watch for the shimmering lights that randomly appear every hour in any river, lake, or pond, accompanied by the sound of something "falling" in the water.  If the area can be reached, approach it, equip the Copper Pan, and left-click on the shimmering lights.  Using the Copper Pan consumes no [[Energy|energy]].  shimmering lights location and item is predetermined at the beginning of the day in a region.
