Two days after restoring the [[Community Center]] or completing the [[Joja Community Development Form]], Willy mails the player an invitation to the back room of his shop. The closing ceremony does not need to be watched to get the letter. On arriving, the player finds a hidden dock with an old boat that can be repaired to travel to [[Ginger Island|Ginger Island]] for a fee of {{price|1000}}. Once the boat is fully repaired, a cutscene will occur overnight where Willy and Robin fix the boat. Note that this cutscene may be delayed if another overnight event is happening. Once repaired, the store's doors unlock at 8am, though Willy's own schedule is unchanged. He doesn't need to be in the shop to ride the boat.

Once the player leaves all the items needed to fix everything, a cutscene occurs overnight in which Willy and Robin do the repairs. The day after the cutscene runs, the player can buy a {{price|1000}} boat ticket for transport to [[Ginger Island|Ginger Island]]. Note that the cutscene may be delayed a day if another overnight event is due the same night.

 

Once the boat is available, the Fish Shop doors unlock at 8am, though Willy's own schedule does not change. Willy pilots the boat, but he doesn't need to be in the shop when the ticket is purchased. He becomes available automatically whenever the player can access the back room.
