Similarly to how a dish can be prepared in the [[Farmhouse#Upgrades|kitchen]] using ingredients stocked in nearby fridges, crafting an item with a Workbench will consume items stored in adjacent chests as if they were stored in the players inventory.

When crafting with the workbench, the items are consumed in the following order:

When crafting with the workbench, items are consumed in a similar order to the [[Cooking#Notes|Refrigerator]] and [[Mini-Fridge]]s:

*Firstly, The Workbench will scan [[The Player]]'s [[Inventory]] for the required items.If the player has them in their [[Inventory]], they are used first.

*Secondly, The Workbench will scan the Oldest [[Chest]] for the Required Items. If they are there, they are consumed.

#The oldest [[Chest]] placed by the player (in chronological order)

*After that, the Workbench repeats the process from the oldest [[Chest]] to the one placed most recently (Newest Chest).

#The next oldest Chest placed by the player, and so on.
