If planted in a 3x3 square, crops have a chance to become a Giant Crop -- a single 3x3 plant which must be harvested with an [[axe]] for 18 crops instead of 9. They must be kept watered and growing at the same rate. Giant crops do not conform to a strict grid. For example, a 3x4 crop growth will have two chances for a Giant Crop to grow in the 3x3 grid needed. Three confirmed plants can become giant - {{ItemLink|cauliflower}}, {{ItemLink|pumpkin}}, {{ItemLink|melon}}.
