*The [[Weapons#Glitch|clipping glitch]] that allows you to enter the normally unreachable space around a map area does not work with slingshots.

*If playing on computer or console, the only way to get rid of an unwanted slingshot is to place it in a [[chest]] in a villager's path, so the villager will destroy it when walking through it.  On mobile, you can place it in a chest and drag it to the trash bin directly from the chest.
