You can gain [[Friendship]] with your chickens by petting them each day. If you neglect to give your chickens their pats, the [[friendship]] meter will slowely decay. When this hapens you will see the chicken's status change to something like "''chicken'' looks sad."
If you forget to feed the chickens, or let them out to eat grass, the [[friendship]] meter will go down, and you will see that the chicken's status will change to a message such as "''Chicken'' looks thin".
