'''Large Stumps''' and '''[[Large Log]]s''' are the main sources of [[Hardwood]] in the game.

A '''Large Stump''' is a type of [[Trees|tree]] in ''[[Stardew Valley]]''. They can be found on [[the Farm]] and in the [[Secret Woods]]. Large Stump drop 2 [[Hardwood]] when harvested with a [[Copper Axe]] or better.

They can initially be found on the farm, and in the area around the ranch. Once harvested, they will not respawn, with an exception of the [[Secret Woods]], that contains 6 Stumps you can harvest daily for a total of 12 pieces Hardwood per day.

Large Stump will not respawn on the Farm, but they do respawn in the Secret Woods.<br>

Six (6) Large Stumps respawn daily in the Secret Woods, making it possible to obtain 12 Hardwood per day.

Large stumps can be harvested by a [[Copper Axe]]s and higher upgrades.

 

* Large Stump it the hardest, most resistant form of wood in the game.

One stump drops 2 pieces of hardwood. It takes 7 hits with a [[Copper Axe]], 5 hits with a [[Steel Axe]] and 3 hits with an [[Iridium Axe]] to break the stump, making it the hardest and most resistant form of wood in the game.
