Undo revision 168403 by MouseyPounds (talk) Only the base chance of junk is decreased, the chance of getting trash when no creature is found does not decrease (see references). Furthermore, I tested in game that Wild Bait does NOT give a 25% chance to yield double items, which I deleted before.

Tested and apparently Wild Bait does not give double catches. I'm not sure what quantity = 2 is doing in the game code but it's certainly not that.

→Freshwater: Same reasoning as the previous edit.

→Saltwater: I got a silver quality periwinkle by using deluxe bait, so it seems you can get higher quality crab pot items now. Not sure if is because of the bait, or you can just get better quality now in general.

Changing wording of tip. The quality fertilizer recipe does not get unlocked until level 9 farming. So it is not possible to craft it early game.
