Hay is a resource used to feed barn or coop animals like [[Chicken|chickens]] and [[Cow|cows]]. Provided the player has built a [[Silo]], it can be harvested by cutting [[Grass|grass]] with the [[Scythe|scythe]].
Since grass only occurs during the [[Spring]], [[Summer]], and [[Fall]] seasons, that is the only time it can be naturally harvested. Alternatively, it can be bought at [[Marnie's Ranch]] for {{Price|50}} each.
