Your Mom or Dad will occasionally send you letters during your first and second year in Stardew Valley. Most letters will generally mention how things back home are boring, that they miss you or that they want the player to remember them after they become a "millionaire". These letters contain various, apparently random gifts within them. You cannot reply to your parents at time of writing, so they are short and one-sided. The player appears to receive them randomly.

- 1 Pink Cake
These letters cease after the second year.
