'''Wild Bait''' is a type of [[bait]] that makes it possible to catch two fish at the same time and also makes fish bite slightly faster than standard [[Bait (item)|Bait]].  You can only craft Wild Bait after being taught the recipe by [[Linus]], during his [[Linus#Four Hearts|4-heart cutscene]].  (To trigger the cutscene, earn 4 hearts of [[friendship]] with Linus, then enter [[the Mountain]] between 8pm and 12am on a sunny day.) Once you know the recipe it is also possible to obtain Wild Bait from [[Fishing#Treasure Chests|Fishing Treasure Chests]].
