First is symbol, that we can use, to distinguish references to Yoba - it is hybrid, between "W" and arrow, pointed upwards. This symbol can be found:

First is the symbol which we can use to distinguish references to Yoba - it is the Anglo-Saxon rune called "ear", which can mean "earth" or "grave" [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ear_%28rune%29 (Wikipedia)]. This could be taken to mean that the people of Pelican Town worship the Earth. This symbol can be found:

'''3.''' In game "Journey of the Prairie King", on the third level, on tombstones (but I don't remember, if it looks up, or down). Interesting thing is: On pickup tombstone, in the same game, it looks reversed (upside-down), and using it will cast lightning, upon you, and will turn you, into invunerable zombie (for a limited amount of time). http://stardewvalleywiki.com/Journey_of_the_Prairie_King

[Before time there was only the endless golden light. The light called out to itself...'Yoba'. Yoba wanted more. Yoba swirled the golden light into a vortex. Yoba swirled and swirled until a hole formed in the eye of the vortex. From this hold sprung a seed. Yoba smoothed the golden light. Yoba smoothed and smoothed, and the light became soil. Into this soil, Yoba planted the seed. The seed sprouted, and behold! A vine sprung skyward, twisting and probing, casting a writhing shadow onto the golden void. After 11 days, the vine bore fruit. Yoba, with knowing wisdom, peeled the tough skin off the fruit and saw that the world was inside. And so that is how the world came to be.]

Also, as far as I know, noone found any way to interact with "Altar of Yoba" yet. It can be conditional (like brining trere specific item, only on stormy wednesday, wich is difficult to test, because Pierre close shop on that day, before you repair Community Center), and storm's are rare by themsefl, but I cant datamine, to know for sure.
