The Galaxy Sword is a weapon which can be obtained from taking a Prismatic Shard to the Three Pillars in Calico Desert. While holding the shard, enter the center tile between the three pillars. The Prismatic Shard will be consumed.
After getting a Galaxy Sword players will no longer be able to use a Prismatic Shard to obtain another, and, if lost, must purchase another from Marlon for 50,000g. He'll also make available for sale two new weapons, the Galaxy Hammer and Galaxy Dagger.

Exploit
As of PC v1.11, if you purchase a Catalogue and bring the 75th wallpaper (the one below the light blue colored) to the pillars, you'll be rewarded with the Galaxy Sword.
