*Surprisingly, based on the 4 (3 in Summer) common foragable items, if the player neither has access to the [[Secret Woods]], nor collected [[Bear's Knowledge]] or seen [[Vincent]]'s and [[Jas]]' 8-heart-event, the least profitable season for foraging is actually Spring, the most profitable one being Winter, followed by Summer. This drastically changes through all three of the mentioned perks, with the receiving of all of them easily putting Fall at 1st place, Spring 2nd and Summer a close 3rd, mostly due to the fact that forageables are rather scarce in Winter (or have to be dug up, which won't apply any foraging skill bonuses to them) and the chance of a [[Rainbow Shell]] spawning at the beach in Summer (selling for 600g each with iridium quality)
