Rice Shoot is a spring seed that normally matures in 8 days. However, it grows faster (at a fixed rate) if it is planted in the effective range of one of the ponds available to the farm, in which case it does not need watering either. Each rice shoot produces 1 to 3 [[Unmilled Rice]]. Must be harvested with a [[Scythe]]. The pond's effective range is 3 tiles away.
