Rice Shoot can be acquired in fishing treasure chests, and by digging artifact spots or roots. It drops from grubs in the mines and Haunted Skulls in the quarry dungeon. Pierre sells Rice Shoots starting from Year 2 for 40g.

Rice Shoots can be purchased at [[Pierre's General Store]] starting in year 2, from the Magic Shop Boat at the [[Night Market]] on Winter 15 (starting in year 2), and occasionally from the [[Traveling Cart]]. They can also be obtained in [[Fishing#Treasure Chests|Fishing Treasure Chests]], [[Artifact Spot]]s, by using the [[Seed Maker]], as a drop from monsters in the mine or by using the [[Seed Maker]].
Rice Shoots take only 6 days to mature and do not require watering if planted between 3 tiles of a [[Farm Pond]] in any direction, otherwise they will take 8 days to mature.
