Sorry for reversed contributions

I see a mostly good edit you did got reverted, sorry about that! The word "a" preceding "Omni Geode" probably should have been "an" (an Omni Geode), because of the vowel that followed, though that wasn't the reason given for reversal by mod. I agree that "the Geode" or "the Omni Geode" don't make sense, since "the" can be suggestive of something being a singular occurrence/one-off (players can get more than one). Using "a" immediately makes clear that more than one can be obtained. Unfortunately, this wiki is held hostage by perceived (undocumented) consistency rules across pages of a type, even if it is not correct. "Consistency" is quoted regardless if doing it across all pages sometimes, and unfortunately even if pre-proposed and pre-approved to fix it on all pages head of time, as noted on this here.

Legitimate changes perceived to be creating any extra work for the admin get reversed, with the rationale that it needs to be done across the other languages (perceived as admin work). I read this is due to the manual way translation is chosen to be done here, and that seems to hit the nail on the head. In a nutshell, don't expect contibuting here to be teamwork-oriented or democratic and there's less room for disappointment. Good luck! User6789 (talk) 00:47, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
