I'm finding the wording/language currently in use to be confusing. What points? To get a new mastery, I mean. Not how many, but what kind of points, and where do we get them? Experience points? ::Reworked the whole points discussion. Hope it clears things up. The existing text said that the player can track progress to the next level in-game, so I left that in. You can still accumulate XP even if you did not enter the cave. I found this out because I did  not know about the cave until I am already level 3 mastery.

Idea: we could split the mastery + rewards similar to how we do this for skills, see [[Combat/Skill]]. Then we can embed it into this page, but also the separate skill pages as 'Mastery' without having to duplicate everything. What do people think? There is a bullet point in the trivia section that says "If a player hovers their mouse cursor over the pillars showing the mastery rewards, it will show their native hardware cursor instead of the custom one." This statement does not seem to be true. Maybe it would be better placed in a Bugs section, or in the History section as a fixed bug. xp?

Should there be some info about the xp required to unlock each mastery level/totem or should that just be left to a redirect to the skills page?

Totems

Should these pillars be named totems? Is that not confusing with the items that can be used to teleport around? -> Renamed to plain 'masteries' for now, updated all links, let me know if anyone disagrees (I don't see the reference to totems anywhere in-game), so we best remove it to prevent confusion.

I find naming the pillars this new way actually better. I was hyped and rushing through new areas and items, didn't think deeply into that and ended calling them totems. Good job, dude. Schevve (talk) 16:04, 22 March 2024 (UTC)

Mastery XP

You can still accumulate XP even if you did not enter the cave. I found this out because I did not know about the cave until I am already level 3 mastery.
