Hello Margotbean. I have been trying to think of ways to be even more productive on the wiki, and remembered how helpful [[User:Horizon98]]'s bot was during my latest project, 'Coat of many colors'. And I wondered if there was a way to get/code my own. I am asking you about this because I am not sure if I need permission or something to do this. Thanks! :You can always code a bot account if you wish. You can make a separate account for "bot" edits and regular edits as well, if you like. On the old wiki, bot accounts had their edits marked as patrolled automatically, but this is not the case on the new wiki, so there's not much point in designating an account as a "bot" account on the server side anymore. If you do make a separate "bot" account, it will have to make a certain number of edits before it can bypass the abuse filters, but that's the only difference.
