The Chicken is an animal in Stardew Valley. It comes in two varieties: White and Brown. It is obtained by either purchasing it from Marnie for 
800g or by putting an egg in an incubator. The egg will only hatch if there is room left in the coop.
Produce
The Chicken will produce an Egg or Brown Egg every morning, though both of these sell for 40g. Once sufficient friendship is reached, they can produce a Large Egg or Large Brown Egg which sells for 75g.
Eggs can also be placed in the mayonnaise machine to produce mayonnaise, which sells for 150g or 225g depending on quality.
Selling
