The Mermaid's Pendant can be purchased from the [[Old Mariner]] on [[The Beach|the beach]] for {{price|5000}} (after repairing the bridge (300 [[wood]]) and upgrading the [[farmhouse]] at least once). The Old Mariner only appears on rainy days, meaning he will never appear during [[Winter]].

The wedding ceremony will take place 3 days after proposing, immediately after waking up. When the event is over, the player and their newly wedded spouse will appear on the farmhouse porch at 6:00 a.m. The wedding ceremony will not take place if an event is taking place. Confirmed by the developer [[Shane]] and [[Emily]] will be added to the Marriage Candidates in 1.1.
