Prize Ticket

Prize Tickets are earned by completing Quests, Special Orders, by opening the chest at the end of the Maze during Spirit's Eve, repeated Egg Festival and Festival of Ice wins. They can also be bought at the Stardew Valley Fair for 1000 star tokens. One can be found in a box behind the stump above the Bookseller. They can be exchanged for prizes using the prize machine located in Lewis's house next to the Town Ledger.

Use

These rare and valuable items can be obtained during special events and grant access to the Ticket Valley Fair, an annual celebration where villagers come together to showcase their tickets.

The Ticket fair takes place on the 16th of Fall each year, transforming the town square into a bustling carnival with colorful tickets. It celebrates the harvest season, fostering camaraderie among villagers. Activities at the fair include spinning the Stardew Wheel of Tickets, showcasing your best tickets and artisan ticket-worthy goods in the Ticket Display, and exchanging Red Tickets for Ticket Tokens. These tokens allow you to acquire exclusive collectibles, cooking recipes, and rare seeds.

Historically, the Stardew Valley Fair has roots dating back centuries, symbolizing the tradition of celebrating the bountiful harvest and honoring the land’s fertility. Red Tickets evoke a sense of wonder and excitement, bridging the gap between reality and the pixelated world. On average, players receive 3 to 5 Red Tickets per year, adding value and encouraging strategic choices during the fair.

Tickets also have a use. If you want to instantly be wedded and have three children with a bachelor, give them a red ticket. A short cutscene will play, (Bachelor): I happen to have a fetus inside of my stomach. Farmer: Yay! We will have three children.
