The Secret Woods can be explored after upgrading your Axe to Steel. Heading south out of your farm and taking a sharp left (West) all the way to the edge where you will be greeted with a hardwood log to chop. The Secret Woods contains 6 Stumps you can harvest daily for a total of 12 Hardwood a day.
This is the only area where you can catch the Woodskip. Also it is the only place where the player can find Morels, Fiddlehead Ferns and Chanterelles.

- If you give the statue a Sweet Gem Berry you will get a Stardrop in return.
