The Ancient Seed is an Artifact that can be found by digging up an Artifact Spot in Cindersap Forest, the Quarry, or the Mountains, and from Fishing Treasure Chests. It is also a rare drop from Bugs, Grubs, Mutant Flies, and Mutant Grubs (0.5%).

This artifact can be crafted into viable seeds that can be planted to grow an Ancient Fruit in Spring, Summer or Fall.

Donation of this item contributes to the total count of the donations for the Museum.

In addition, donating this rewards the player with the Ancient Fruit seeds crafting recipe, along with one pack of said seeds.
