The Basic Fertilizer is a Fertilizer that helps by improving soil quality. It can be purchased from Pierre's for 100g or crafted.
Crops harvested from fertilized tiles have following quality ratio: ~33% Regular / ~33% Silver / ~33% Gold. Basic Fertilizer's crop quality change only affects the basic harvest, which means that bonus crops (extra potato and 2 extra blueberries) are going to be of regular quality.
