Template:Villager The Old Mariner is an NPC in Stardew Valley. He is a ghost that appears on the east side of the beach.
The Old Mariner sells the Mermaid's Pendant, a marriage token. Two conditions must be met for him to appear:
- The bridge on the beach must be repaired
- The weather must be rainy
- Note: The Old Mariner will never appear during winter, regardless of weather conditions.
If the player has a relationship with an NPC that is 10 hearts and a bouquet has been given, the player may purchase the pendant for 5000g. After using the pendant he will say, "Glad the Amulet worked out for ye, lad/miss."
