Range

A Scarecrow will protect an area of 8x8 spaces vertically and horizontally, as well as 6x6 spaces on a diagonal from its location, forming a rough circle that covers 249 spaces total (248 plantable spaces).

Rarecrows

Rarecrows can be found at certain events and after completing certain objectives. The looks are purely cosmetic, as functionally they work the same as regular Scarecrows.
