::Respecfully I did read the page, white and black are '''shades, not colors''' and the article statements you mention refer only to ''colors''. Pure white is the literal absense of color. So, ''several statements on the page are incorrect, not my reading of it. The word "pants" appears nowhere, nor is it mentioned anywhere that putting ''one of each color item in each dye pot creates colors '''or shades such as black or white'''--of which white, is not normally dyeable '''at all''' and logically thus warrants the elaboration I requested. It also says: "a menu will pop up with '''color''' sliders (similar to the character creation menu) that allow you to choose any '''color'''" which again black and white and black are not. More than just ''color'' sliders appear also, hue/saturation/brightness also to achieve '''shades ''and'' colors''' in a mixer format. Anyone with a novice understanding of color, paint, dying, graphics or web colors (or took an art class on high school) may likely assume the same of analog-represented limited color dye pots, without proper mention of what is '''really''' contained therein. People who did k-12 art classes don't naturally think to try dying '''an absence of color''' which is likely why there are multiple posts about it elsewhere. It wrongly states below ''Dye Strength'' first table: "Shown below is an expandable table of all items that can be used to dye '''clothing''' at the sewing machine," and it lists white items, except the white items ''cannot'' be used for pants or skirts at the sewing machine '''at all''' (so this is incorrect also or rather incomplete, I and several others tried this on mobile ''because'' of the misleading information). I don't know what page you are referring to, but the history section of this page also does not state this. ::Frankly it is unfair to treat with open hostility anyone who makes the mistake of making an administration-relation suggestion, I was treated fine on my first edits until that, then afterwards the hostility began and continued. It is not necessary, not appropriate, not acceptable, nor will I accept it (like I see others have) without calling it out. Please refrain from doing so in the future (I consider this unnecessary bullying) and I will defend myself adamantly, truthfully, but still respectfully using logic each time. Thank you.
