=Combat-only "skull" level=
Occasionally you will enter a level with no rocks, and a message saying "This area is infested". The level number will be replaced with a skull icon.
You must continue to fight until you receive the message "An exit has appeared". The exit ladder will appear directly in front of the entry ladder. Monsters will continue to arrive after the exit has appeared.
Skull levels appear to be a random event.
