Spring Seeds, Summer Seeds, Fall Seeds, and Winter Seeds all produce crops normally found as forage. Note that while Farming Skill normally increases the chance to grow a quality crop, for these (and other wild seeds) it is the Foraging Skill which increases the chance to recieve a quality crop. Crows do not attack crops grown from {{subst:PAGENAME}}, so the use of Scarecrows is unnecessary.

Because the forage is spawned as items rather than being "harvested", a mature plant grown from a {{subst:PAGENAME}} is different to other crops. Firstly, it will be affected by the Botanist profession perk. Secondly, it will not be considered "in the ground" on the last day of its growth and may leave untilled soil in its place, and any fertilizer used will be lost in this case.
