:The percent chance to obtain one is very small, as listed on The Mines#Special Items. At the bottom right of the table there is an entry saying "A random item from a Treasure Room (14%)". However, the 14% is mitigated by the source -- crates and barrels (2.2%), special slime (1.2% chance to encounter one), or 0.2% of all other monsters. So, the chance to obtain one is always quite low, similar to many items found at the Traveling Cart. I suppose that's why no one's bothered to add them as a source on most pages. I can put it on the "to do" list, though! Every item that can be found in a Treasure Room would need to mention it, not just the Red Cowboy Hat. Rather a larger project than just one item. I do understand the need to mention it, as I come to the wiki every time I find an unexpected item in the Dangerous Mines, looking to see if the wiki mentions it or not! Thanks for posting! ::Oh, interesting. I never would've thought to look in a special table. If I were wiki-savvy I'd give the editing you mentioned a go, but alas. Thanks for the info :) FarmerAF (talk) 19:28, 21 January 2022 (UTC)

Mines drop

I got the Red Cowboy Hat drop from a mob (unknown which) somewhere in the regular Mines between levels 1-19 while the Shrine of Challenge was activated. The page doesn't currently reflect this chance but I don't know how to edit it. FarmerAF (talk) 09:10, 21 January 2022 (UTC)

The percent chance to obtain one is very small, as listed on The Mines#Special Items. Thanks for posting! margotbean (talk) 15:55, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
Oh, interesting. I never would've thought to look in a special table. If I were wiki-savvy I'd give the editing you mentioned a go, but alas. Thanks for the info :) FarmerAF (talk) 19:28, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
