The Slingshot is a weapon in Stardew Valley. It can be obtained from the chest on level 40 of The Mines. It requires the use of Stones or Explosive Ammo. It may also use coal, ores, wood, eggs, fruits, and vegetables as ammo.
Unlike most weapons, using the slingshot on a villager will decrease your friendship with them.
Ammo
To equip a slingshot with ammo, select the ammo, then Right-Click on the slingshot.
The ammo and slingshot determine the damage dealt. With the worst ammo (e.g., fruit), a Slingshot can deal 1-3 and a Master Slingshot can deal 2-6 damage. With the best ammo (Iridium Ore), a Slingshot can deal 25-101 damage while a Master Slingshot can deal 50-202 damage.
The following items can be used as ammo:
Category | Item |
---|---|
Resources | Coal • Copper Ore • Gold Ore • Iridium Ore • Iron Ore • Stone • Wood |
Eggs | Duck Egg • Egg • Large Egg • Void Egg |
Fruits | All Fruits |
Vegetables | All Vegetables |
Other | Explosive Ammo |
