The Sweet Gem Berry is a crop in Stardew Valley. They grow from the Rare Seed (which can be obtained from the Travelling Cart) after 24 days. It can be given to Old Master Cannoli in the Secret Woods in order to get a Stardrop. It is not considered a fruit or a vegetable and so can not be used in a Keg or Preserves Jar. It can be purchased from the Traveling Cart for 
12,000g.
