The perfection score measures how much of the game content you've completed. Achieving a perfection of 100% unlocks extra endgame content.

Perfection system

The "Perfection Tracker" cat in Qi's secret island room shows your current perfection value, which is the average score across these categories:

category requirement for 100%
Produce & Forage Shipped Ship one of every crop and forage item.
Obelisks on Farm Build a Desert Obelisk, Earth Obelisk, Island Obelisk, and Water Obelisk.
Golden Clock On Farm Build a Gold Clock.
Monster Slayer Hero Complete all monster eradication goals for the Adventurer's Guild.
Great Friends Reach maximum hearts with every villager. (That includes Kent, so a perfect score isn't possible in year one.)
Farmer Level Reach level 10 in every skill.
Found All Stardrops Find all stardrops.
Cooking Recipes Made Cook every recipe at least once.
Crafting Recipes Made Craft every craftable item at least once.
Fish Caught Catch every fish. That includes legendary fish, but not the quest fish for the "Extended Family" Qi quest.
Golden Walnuts Found Find every golden walnut.
