The Snow Yam is a foraging item in Stardew Valley. It can only be obtained in Winter by foraging in Pelican Town or the Desert, digging with the Hoe (easy locations are in the field on the Farm and at the Beach), or harvested from Winter Wild Seeds. Digging anywhere in the snow may yield Clay, Winter Root, or Snow Yam. You do not need to dig worms to get these items. The Beach yields the highest amount, with The Farm yielding the least.
