The Tapper is a type of equipment used to make artisan goods in Stardew Valley. It is placed on a tree and produces a variety of syrups, resins, and tars. It can also be placed on a Big Mushroom tree to produce different mushrooms over time. The Tapper can be removed from a tree by hitting it once with an axe. This leaves the Tapper intact and able to be reused.

Despite being considered Artisan Goods, Tapper products are not affected by the Artisan Farming profession.

If the Tapper is on a tree when it is struck by lightning, the Tapper will be destroyed and its ingredients will not be recoverable.
