Crops
- This page is for things that grow on tilled land. For fruit that grow on trees, see Fruit Trees.
Crops are things you can grow on your farm, to sell, eat, cook, or give out as gifts. Each crop grows in a specific season, though some will grow in multiple seasons.
You can grow crops on your farm and sell them, eat them, cook them or give them to people as gifts. Each crop has specific seasons they'll grow during. When seasons change after the 28th day all crops not associated to the new season will die, so plan accordingly.
The crops referenced by the achievement Polyculture are only the normal, plantable fruits and vegetables, not flowers or special fruits. (Sweet Gem Berry and Ancient Fruit)
Basics
Trellis Crops
Some crops require a trellis to grow, as noted in their description. These crops are planted like normal, however, once planted they cannot be walked through. The trellis for grapes do not currently change direction, meaning if you plant a vertical row of them, their trellis will still face horizontally.
Giant Crops
If planted in a 3x3 square, crops have a chance to become a Giant Crop -- a single 3x3 plant which must be harvested with an axe for 18 crops instead of 9. They must be kept watered and growing at the same rate. Giant crops do not conform to a strict grid. For example, a 3x4 crop growth will have two chances for a Giant Crop to grow in the 3x3 grid needed. Three confirmed plants can become giant - Template:ItemLink, Template:ItemLink, Template:ItemLink.

Crows
Growing crops can be eaten by crows overnight if you don't place scarecrows.
Grow Times
All listed grow times count the 6:00AM morning, so the day of planting itself is not counted. Grow times are based on not using any fertilizers or farming level upgrades. In addition, the gold per day is based on this.
Examples:
- On the 24th of a month you could plant a 4-day-crop and harvest it on the 28th - morning of the 25th, morning of the 26th, morning of the 27th and morning of the 28th would equal 4.
- Poppies (7 days to harvest) planted continuously from day 1 are harvestable on the 8th, 15th, 22nd. The next harvest would be the 29th, so you can only replant them three times.

Winter
There are no crops that can grow in winter, although Winter Wild Seeds can still be planted and harvested (which would give foraged plants).
Special
Wild Seeds
Wild Seeds can be crafted out of foraged plants once you reach the appropriate foraging level (Spring at level 1, Summer at level 4, Fall at level 6, Winter at level 7). Each recipe will produce 10 seed packets. When planted, wild seeds will randomly grow into one of that season's foraged plants. Regardless of what ends up growing, wild seeds all take the same amount of time to grow to maturity (7 days, not counting the day planted).
Grows in Fall. Seeds can also be found for sale at the Traveling Cart. Can be gifted to Old Master Cannoli inside the Secret Woods.
