Tailoring

A Taro Root can be used in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create the dyeable Shirt And Belt. It can be used in dyeing, serving as an orange dye at the dye pots, located in Emily's and Haley's house, 2 Willow Lane.

Quests

• Three Taro Roots may be requested by Blue Discus in a Fish Pond quest to increase the capacity of the pond from 3 to 5.
• Ten Taro Roots may be requested by Blue Discus in a Fish Pond quest to increase the capacity of the pond from 5 to 10.
• Caroline may request 100 Taro Roots in the "Island Ingredients" Special Order. The reward is gold equivalent to 50% of base crop price and the Solar Panel recipe.

Trivia

• After harvesting a Taro Root, the ground underneath it will remain watered for the rest of the day.
