Every season there are two festivals. A pop-up on left-hand side will let you know when the festival has begun.
Spring
The egg festival happens the 13th of spring, at 9:00 am at the Pelican Town Square.
The villagers and you participate in a traditional egg hunt; there's a booth where you can buy a stuffed rabbit (it's for decoration) and strawberry seeds for 100g each (in the first year, if you buy and plant the strawberries in the same day, you will be able to harvest strawberries three times).
Once you talk to the mayor, the hunt begins. You need to collect a minimum of 9 colored eggs or Abigail wins the festival.
When the festival ends, you will be home at 10pm.
The Flower Festival is held at the 24th of spring every year. It starts at 9:00 am south of your farm in the forest, or west of Pelican Town (if you use the path by Haley's house).
Pierre will have a booth selling Dandelion, Daffodil, Tub o'Flowers and a random Rarecrow.
In this festival you can dance with one of the bachelors/bachelorettes if you talk to them and invite them to dance, but you must have a minimum affection at least 5 heart with them first. You can talk to the other villagers and they will have regular flower festival related lines. The bachellors/bachelorettes don't, they can only be invited to dance.
Once you talk to the mayor, the dance begins.
When the festival ends, you will be home at 10pm.
Summer
The Festival is held in the beach, the 11th day of Summer, starting at 9am, people of the town bring different ingredients to prepare a Soup for the Governor, talk to Lewis to end the festival.
Dance Of The Moonlight Jellies
The festival is held on the 28th day of Summer. It begins at 10pm on the beach.
Fall
The Fair is held the 16th of Fall of every year. Starting at 9am at the Pelican Town Square. There are several games where you can gain Star Tokens, a currency that can be exchanged for prizes at the Shop near the entrance by the Farm. In the Fair is also held a contest where you can show the products of the farm and gain Star Tokens, talk to Lewis when you're ready to have the products judged.

Spirit's Eve occurs on the 27th of every fall, starting at 10pm at the Pelican town Square. There are multiple tables laid with spreads of food. The Eve features a maze where it is possible to obtain the Golden Pumpkin.
To reach the Golden Pumpkin, you must walk through the block of hedge to the left of the question mark sign.

Winter
The Feast of the Winterstar occurs on the 25th of Winter. The event works like a secret Santa, where a random villager will be selected to give you a gift, and you selected to give one to a random villager. A week(?) beforehand, Mayor Lewis will send a letter telling you who your gift recipient is.
