Farming

Farming is the process of planting, growing and harvesting crops at your farm. It's one of the main income sources for the game, and provides ingredients for cooking.

To plant crops players must first till a patch of soil using a hoe. If they intend to use fertilizer that should be applied before planting the seed. The crop must be watered each day to grow, unless it is raining (when they'll require no watering).

Farming Skill

The farming skill can be viewed in the skill tab of the pause menu.

Farming	Each skill level grants +1 efficiency to the hoe and watering can tools. Levels are gained by using these tools, and farming crops.
Mining	Mining skill is increased by using the pickaxe tool to break rocks. Each level adds +1 to pickaxe proficiency.
Foraging	Foraging skill includes both gathered foraged goods, and wood from trees chopped with an axe tool. Each level adds +1 axe proficiency.
Fishing	Fishing is the skill associated with catching fish. It's increased by fishing using a fishing pole. Each level adds +1 fishing rod proficiency.
Combat	Combat is a skill tied to the player's ability to fight against monsters. Each level adds +5 health points.
