Luck is a stat that affects different aspects of the game, such as the drop rate of power-ups and coins in Journey of the Prairie King. Aspects of the game affected by luck, and the way luck affects them need to be added and confirmed.

Effects

Luck has influence on a few things in your world:

• Mining: The chance that an enemy will drop a ladder. Also the ores that spawn and the chance that monster drop rare loot are affected. (Ladders from rocks are static and do not change over multiple days).

• Geodes might be affected by luck, decreasing the chance to get stone and increasing the chance for rarer gems and artifacts.

• Fishing: The rarity of the fish. Might also make the minigame easier (unconfirmed)

• Arcade Games: The amount of drops in the arcade games at the saloon.

• Foraging: It seems foraging items are also affected by the amount of luck the player has that day. Needs to be confirmed

Fortune Teller

You can know what your luck is for a given day by tuning in to the Fortune Teller channel on your TV. Stat bonuses associated to each message need to be confirmed!

Increasing Your Luck

You can temporarily increase your luck stat by consuming some food items. The duration of the temporary stat boost needs to be added and confirmed.
