Error in calc

I noticed that I made an error when calculating the distribution for diamond ore in the original graph. I will fix that up and make the graphs for it soon, and include a link to a desmos graph. (unless excel spreadsheets can be uploaded here?) JackBlack69 (talk) 12:27, 20 April 2023 (UTC)

No, spreadsheets cannot be uploaded. You can upload to google docs and include the link, but cannot directly upload spreadsheets. (For future reference, clicking the "Upload file" link will tell you what file types are allowed.) margotbean (talk) 18:57, 20 April 2023 (UTC)

I think the page has all the information needed. Could you please check if anything is missing (or mistakes). Also, I have updated the graphs, and tried to purge the cache, but the old images are still showing in the thumbnails. JackBlack69 (talk) 13:30, 21 April 2023 (UTC)

Well, I don't have the week it would take to validate all the info on the page, so we'll have to let the wiki community do that!

We can remove the "stub" header. One thing that might be helpful is formatting -- instead of using preformatting (by including a space at the start of code sections), you can use the syntaxhighlight tag. Enclose the code section in <syntaxhighlight lang="C#"> code block goes here</syntaxhighlight>. I've done a couple of sections so you can see them live. margotbean (talk) 15:52, 21 April 2023 (UTC)

I almost forgot -- we have a continuing problem with image caching. It can take up to 5 hours for a new version of an image to appear on the page. The server people keep implenting fixes, but the problem recurs. In any event, if it's been 24 hours and the new version doesn't show on the page, clear your browser cache, try Ctrl+F5 (on Chrome) to reload the page, or enter "?action=purge" to the end of the url. Ore Distribution for The Mines

Since of this page talking about how ore spawns in the Skull Caverns, would it make sense if we made a page for The Mines in its ore distributions? Because we feel a bit incomplete without this type of page for The Mines. We should get people to doing such thing. 9000 (talk) 8:56, 6 May 2023 (UTC)

It is certainly possible, but a lot more complex due to the different areas. Skull cavern is just skull cavern. The mines are broken up into the first 10 floors, the next 30, then the next 40, and then the next 40. And made more complex by a significant difference between dangerous and normal mines, which mostly effects levels 41-79.JackBlack69 (talk) 23:45, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
