Auto-Petters can be placed anywhere, but will not do anything unless placed inside a barn or coop. To remove an Auto-Petter, it must be struck with a tool (repeated left-clicking or holding left-click will not work).
Auto-Petters cannot be sold.
Auto-Petters can be sometimes found in the chests in Treasure Rooms in Skull Cavern
