The Copper Pan is a tool in Stardew Valley. It is used to gather ore from streams. It is obtained from Willy at the waterfall after completing the Fish Tank bundle or by purchasing it from the Community Development projects for data-sort-value="20000">Gold.png20,000g.

Usage

After completing the Fish Tank bundles in the Community Center, going to the mountain the next day will play a cutscene with Willy pondering the disappearance of the glittering boulder. He then spots the player, pointing out that the stream is carrying ore and minerals out of the mountain. He then gives the player a Copper Pan. From that point onward, sometimes small shimmering lights in rivers and lakes will appear. If the player uses the pan on them, a small animation will play and they will obtain minerals and/or ores. The position of the shimmering lights seems to be directed and does not appear randomly.
