The Pig is an animal in Stardew Valley. It is obtained by purchasing it from Marnie for 
16,000g and requires a Deluxe Barn.
Produce
Pigs mature after 10 days. The Pig will dig up Truffles and leave them on the ground, which sell for a base of 625g. You do not need to stay on the farm screen for them to produce truffles.
A pigs chance of creating produce is governed by the the rules listed in the Produce section of Animal Care with three exceptions:
- They must be let outside to create their produce.
- They cannot produce truffles in Winter or Rain.
- They have a chance of digging up multiple truffles, which is a percent chance equal to Animal Friendship/1500. At max friendship this means they have a 66% chance of creating an additional truffle. Multiple truffles can be made until the animal fails this check.
Selling
It is possible to sell the Pig. The amount of gold obtained for doing so is dependent on how many hearts the animal has. The more hearts; the higher amount of gold fetched for selling it. The amount of gold obtained for selling a maximum-heart Pig is 20,528g.
