Watering

Used to water crops. It can be refilled at any water source. Hold down left click to increase area of effect (Only applies after first upgrade).

Spending a day without watering your plants while upgrading will delay and harm your crops. To avoid this, always check the weather report for the next day. If the forecast is rain, water all your plants and upgrade your watering can the day before it rains, or simply upgrade during the winter, or near the end of a season (the 26th or 27th), if your current crops only last for the season you're in.

Alternatively, using Retaining Soil can keep your crops watered for another day.

Using upgraded watering cans has one nuance: you should hold down action button to water maximum area possible, otherwise it will act like normal watering can. Watering tiles would be highlighted. Direction of watering area depends on siding of player an can not be changed. Watering large areas cost same water and stamina as if you would water them manually, so watering a 6x3 area will cost 18 water and up to 36 stamina!
