The Duck is an animal in Stardew Valley. Provided the player has purchased a Big Coop, they can be bought at Marnie's Ranch for 
4,000g, or by hatching a Duck Egg in an incubator.
Produce
The Duck will produce Duck Egg every two days, which sells for 95g. Once sufficient friendship is reached, they can produce a Duck Feather (1.5 hearts) , which sells for 125g.
Eggs can also be placed in the mayonnaise machine to produce Duck Mayonnaise, which sells for 350g, 468g or 562g depending on quality.
Selling
It is possible to sell the Duck. The amount of gold obtained for doing so is dependent on how many hearts the animal has. The more hearts; the higher amount of gold fetched for selling it. The amount of gold obtained for selling a maximum-heart Duck is 5,200g.
Trivia
In the game the female, egg-laying ducks have green heads. In actuality, only male Mallard ducks have the characteristic green heads. Females are brown.
