Grandpa

Grandpa is the first character players are introduced to. He writes a letter gifting the farmhouse, which prompts the player to move to Stardew Valley.

Grandpa's Ghost

Players can uncover a tablet on the far northwest corner of their farm which reads that Grandpa will return at the start of the player's third year. His ghost returns to that spot on the first day of that year and assigns points based on certain milestones the player has reached.
