Each season has two festivals. Mayor Lewis will send the player a letter in advance of each festival, describing when and where it will take place.

On the day of the festival, a pop-up on left-hand side will let you know when the festival has begun.

Spring

Egg Festival

The Egg Festival takes place on the 13th of every Spring. You can enter the festival at Pelican Town Square between 9:00AM and 2:00PM, and when you leave the time will be 10:00PM.

The villagers and the player participate in an Egg Hunt. This starts by talking to Mayor Lewis. The player must gather 9 colored eggs, or else Abigail will win. If the player wins, they will receive a Straw Hat as a reward. If they already have this, they will receive data-sort-value="1000">Gold.png1,000g.

There is a booth set up where the player can purchase a decorative Stuffed Rabbit and Template:ItemLink (in the first year, if you buy and plant the Template:ItemLink in the same day, you will be able to harvest Template:ItemLink three times).

When the festival ends, you will be returned home at 10:00PM.

Flower Dance

The Flower Dance event takes place on the 24th of every Spring at 9:00AM across the bridge south of Wizard's Tower in the far west of the Cindersap Forest.

There is a booth set up where the player can purchase a Template:ItemLink, Template:ItemLink, Tub o' Flowers and Rarecrow #5.

In this festival you can dance with one of the bachelors or bachelorettes if you talk to them and invite them to dance, but you must have a minimum affection of at least 4 hearts with them first. You can talk to the other villagers and they will have event-related dialogue. The bachelors or bachelorettes do not have this dialogue, unless you have already invited someone to dance, since talking to them will be treated as an invitation.

Once you talk to Mayor Lewis, the dance begins.

When the festival ends, you will be returned home at 10:00PM.

Summer

Luau

The Luau takes place on the 11th of every Summer at 9:00AM at The Beach.

This festival does not have a booth.

People of the town bring different ingredients to prepare a soup for the Governor; talk to Mayor Lewis to end the festival.

Depending upon what type of produce you supply for the soup, there will be different reactions from the Governor and Mayor Lewis. However, this doesn't have any impact on the player, as it is just a fun diversion.

When the festival ends, you will be returned home at 10:00PM.

Dance Of The Moonlight Jellies

The Dance Of The Moonlight Jellies takes place on the 28th of every Summer at 10:00PM at The Beach.

This festival does not have a booth.

The Villagers gather at the docks in order to watch the jellyfish migrate. Talking to Mayor Lewis ends the festival.

When the festival ends, you will be returned home at 12:00AM.

Fall

Stardew Valley Fair

The Stardew Valley Fair takes place on the 16th of Fall every year at 9:00AM at the Pelican Town Square.

There are several games where you can gain Star Tokens, a currency that can be exchanged for prizes at the Shop near the entrance to the Bus Stop.

The Fair also has a contest where you can show the products of the farm and gain Star Tokens. Talk to Mayor Lewis when you're ready to have the products judged.

The player can eat the food to refill their energy bar, but this won't be noticeable till you exit the festival.

Spirit's Eve

Spirit's Eve takes place on the 27th of every Fall at 10:00PM at the Pelican Town Square.

There are multiple tables laid with spreads of food, which can't be eaten by the player, unlike in the Stardew Valley Fair.

The festival features a maze where it is possible to obtain the Golden Pumpkin. Pierre has set up a shopping booth where the player can purchase festive items including a rarecrow, a Jack-O-Lantern, and a Jack-O-Lantern recipe.

The maze is located to the north of Pierre's festive shop. The maze has few dead ends and progressives in a nearly linear fashion. The player has as much time as they need to navigate to the finish. Towards the end of the maze, in the northwest corner of the map, the player must walk through a block of hedge to the left of a wooden sign with a question. Once through, the player must go north through an open cavern and continue east to get to the Golden Pumpkin.
